Overall Project
1 Hotels was developed by Barry
Sternlicht, Starwood Capital Group Chairman and the creator of the W Hotels and

along with 163 private residences run by SH Group.
The Group will be spending more than
$100 million in the project to make sure that 1 Hotel & Residences South
Beach becomes a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design)
certified and environmentally conscious structure.
The
Residences
The project will include 163
residential units of 1,2,4 and 4 Bedrooms that will range in size from 830 to
4,280 square feet with private terraces. The 163 condos will occupy
floors 9 through 16. The 15th and 16th floors will feature premium penthouse
residences with a distinctly different look and feel from other units. Three
stunning 4,000 Sqf plus oceanfront duplex apartments will also be on floors 15
and 16.
Residences have been retrofitted with new energy efficient
casement windows and sliding glass doors. Award-winning Brazilian designer
Debora Aguiar is creating a fresh and creative design for common areas that
stay in line with the brand's stance on sustainable products.
Amenities
Though completely private, with a
separate porte cochere and lobby, 1 Residence owners will have full access and
share all the services and amenities of the 1 Hotel.
Other luxuries offered to 1 Hotel
& Residences owners include four ocean view swimming pools, -one of which
is its famous roof top pool- a 40,000 plus -square-foot spa and fitness center,
great restaurants, fabulous shopping, and 24-hour in-home dining and concierge
services. Additionally, owners and guests will enjoy 600 linear feet of
oceanfront with private beach club amenities.
